    This bike is AWESOME.

    After many months of research on everything I could find on a wide selection of ebikes I settled on the Meraki ebike from Ninety One. It has some very important features like long-range battery, excellent quality workmanship with strong and sturdy components. The 91 Team have gone the extra mile in making certain sure that bike quality is great and built for Indian roads. Now i can go longer distance on bike and interestingly, I am still getting plenty of exercise on the ebike.

  • Electrical/ Pedal Assist Mode

    Ride the hill like a flat road

    In this mode, you can take advantage of combined human and electric power. Once you turn on this mode via the on/off button on the handlebars, the motor will gently provide electric power as you pedal. It’s an amazing feeling to use pedal-assist mode, as it makes cycling effortless, flattens out the hills, and frees you to just enjoy yourself and the scenery.

  • Throttle Mode

    Ride it like a scooter

    This mode of operation allows you to sit back and take a break, as you let the motor do the work. To use “electric only” mode, simply twist the throttle located on the right handlebar and you'll feel the motor kick in and propel you forward. Keep the throttle turned to continue along or let go if you're ready to start pedaling or wish to come to a stop. Please note that due to Indian regulations, the top speed in electric-only mode is limited to 25 km/hr.
    *This mode drains your battery the fastest.

  • Pedal Mode

    Your good old cycle

    In this mode, E-bike can be used as a normal cycle when: you want to just pedal, the power is off, the battery is discharged or in a rare event of any break down in the electronic system of the bike

  • Cruise Mode

    Just glide along

    Cruise Control is considered a type of throttle and is limited to a maximum controllable speed of 6 km/hr. Your bike will then decelerate to that speed. The pedal assist is still available when Cruise Control is active. It may be possible to pedal the E-bike faster than the set cruise speed. The cruise will automatically resume if the speed is allowed to decrease to the preset Cruise Control speed.

What's the point of an E-bike?

E-bikes add power to your pedal power enabling you to do more with a bicycle and have more fun! Every uphill becomes as easy as a flat road ride.

Do E-bikes require a licence or registration?

Electric bike with speed limit of 25KMP and power limit of 250 watt, require no registration, Meraki qualifies these criteria and hence doesn’t need registration or license to ride.

How fast can I go?

The assistance from motor cuts of at speed of 25Kmph, but you can go faster by combining your pedal power in the Pedal assist mode.

Are E-bikes Better for my joints?

E bikes can make bike riding fun again by making putting less pressure on knees, hips, and other joints.

Can I ride E-bike without pedalling?

Yes E-bike with throttle can be ridden without pedalling. Though its not recommended to so continuously as it’ll educe the range considerably and of course pedal assist is more fun than using throttle

Do E-bikes work without battery?

Yes, you can ride an E-bike with the battery as easily as a normal cycle. Riding an E- bike without the battery will not harm or damage the motor or the battery.

Is cycling with a motor cheating?

In pedal assist mode the motor gives boost to your pedalling effort, which does take effort. So, riding and E-bike is definitely not cheating. It just helps you to do lot more with the bike
