An MTB bike park is a piece of land specifically designed for off-road or mountain biking. They can be built in small urban areas, public lands or integrated with trail systems. A bike park may include skills courses, pump tracks, jumps, trails and other features. They provide family-friendly recreation, and a safe space for riders. The need for sustainable and progressive riding areas is growing with biking popularity. The added benefits of cycling cannot be overlooked either. From combating obesity and nature deficit disorder to strengthening the bonds of friends and family, biking has the power to transform communities. Bike parks and bike trails can be integrated into existing park systems, trail systems, planned communities, placed adjacent to skate parks or used to repurpose vacant land. Here are a few of the MTB parks in India.
1.Disko Valley Bike Park, Ladakh

Disko Valley Bike Park in Ladakh was born of a vision for a thriving local riding culture and a sport that could truly harness the areas potential. The site features a 200m dirt pump track, table top jumps, a 500m short track downhill course, and a 50-foot double jump dedicated to late MTB rider Ajay Padval. Disko Valley even hosted the first Ladakh Mountain Bike Festival in September 2019.
