0 reviews (0 ratings)

With the alarming increase in Covid-19 cases, contracting the disease is like childs play, no matter how much you try to avoid it.

However, there is no need to worry as long as you know the dos and donts!

Here is a short guide for you if you are recovering from Covid and wondering about how and when you can get back to grinding!

- Make sure you take at least 10 days of consecutive rest after testing positive and wait at least 7 days after your symptoms stop before you hit your cycling goals.

- Try to understand what your body is trying to tell you and avoid any exertion.

- Go for light intensity cycling and gradually increase your goal if your body responds positively

- Take care of your overall health by relaxing your physical as well as mental being. Getting a good nights sleep, eating healthy, and getting adequate rest are a must.

- If you experience shortness of breath or chest pains, make sure you are not putting too much pressure on yourself and see a doctor if it is persistent.

Keep in mind that getting back to the same level of stamina you had before Covid-19 will take some time and pushing your limits during this time will not be good for your body. Take things slow and keep practicing self-care. You got this!!
